How I Use Star Wars in the Classroom

We do a an in depth study of Campbell, Lucas and the Hero's Journey. We study character arc and the formulaic way in which Lucas applies this to the films and extended canon. We then apply these ideas to other classics such as the Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, and Hunger Games.
