How I Use Star Wars in the Classroom

As a primary school teacher, I have to cover all areas of the curriculum. To engage my students i have included star wars themes into some subjects. I use the idea of the force and the philosophy of the jedi in establishing class rules and our class expectations. The students enjoy using the force to learn new things and take on Yoda's teaching to get them through tough times. I plan to have a star wars themed day to cover maths, ,technology and language with activities baaed around the BB8 droid i bougt for the class as a mascot.
