How I Use Star Wars in the Classroom

I started out using Star Wars in my ELA classroom to model the hero's journey, and other topics. Now I teach several sections of Film and Video Production each year and use Star Wars as one of my primary texts as well as using elements of the Star Wars Saga as examples as we discuss various aspects of the film industry and film production.
