Classroom is decorated in Star Wars everything. My table groups are assigned color & name (yoda, Luke, mace windu, Vader). I have several of the SW math workbooks that the students use as supplemental practice. I have a Star wall for recognition on assessments...students are Jedi master with 100% accuracy, Jedi knight with 90-99% accuracy, youngling with 80-89% accuracy. I use quotes from the movies often to motivate & encourage. I play sounds from the movies as cues to make transitions, pay attention for important information, etc. I have SW playing cards the students use for calculation games (game changes with skill set being taught). My class library includes many SW books, which are popular with the students. The first accelerated reader award is getting to have a pizza party & watch to watch ANH...
