How I Use Star Wars in the Classroom

We've been introducing Shakespeare, with much success, using Ian Doesher's fantastic books. We've also found it useful to compare the story of the Clone Wars with wars we're studying in history. In fact, it's been very fun and easy to use examples from the Star Wars universe all throughout our history lessons. We even found a real-life Ahsoka (Asoka), a very Jedi-like Mauryan emperor from India!
