Bio

I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Poltical Science/Comparative Politics from the United States Naval Academy. I have been a Star Wars fan since 1998( 4th Grade).My hobbies include watching movies, and bodybuilding.

How I Use Star Wars in the Classroom

I love using Star Wars to teach lessons across Multiple Subjects. Most recently, I created a lesson on Narrative Story telling. I used the Star Wars epilogue as an example of introduction. I intend to continue using the Star Wars saga as a context for Common Core lessons. I find this to be an effective tool for English Language Learners. I am also finishing my student teaching experience/Master's program. I cannot wait to implement this theme in my own classroom.
