How I Use Star Wars in the Classroom

I've a Star Wars project running in my class this year. I use it in science class. We learn more about our solar system and comparing our real world and imagined Star Wars world (living habits, travelling and spaceships, robots). After studying the droids especially R2D2 kids have designed their own robots and we'll start building soon. Tomorrow we'll have a video conference with a friend of mine who has built a life size R2D2. We have prepared questions they'll ask. Exciting day tomorrow).
