I am not currently using Star Wars. I was looking for alternative ways to reach those students not interested in traditional learning. My idea was to use Star Wars MMO to create a learning environment in the classroom where students know it is ok to fail but keep trying until they have mastered a particular skill (such as fighting a BOSS. I mean who wins the first time around). The students would then take this back to the classroom to complete writing journals, research species and create their own Avatar, etc. The possibilities are endless. They would tie this together by reading a novel such as Shakespeare's Star Wars: A New Hope.
