I teach social studies and in world history classes I relate the idealism of the Galactic Empire to the Nazi regime and how there were similarities demonstrated between the two groups, such as oppression of weaker nations and government propaganda. I try to model Jedi-like behavior by stating the importance of contributing to the greater good and why we should service others through acts of selflessness.
